What's new

Updates, improvements, and new features shipped to Path & Link, newest first.

June 2026

  1. improvement

Dark mode you can actually read

Rebuilt the dark theme around a four-tier surface ramp, so sections, cards, and form fields separate clearly instead of blending into one flat black. Elevation reads properly on dark, text contrast meets WCAG AA, and the warm purple identity carries across both themes.

  2. feature

    Parent view: signals, not surveillance

Parents get their own space, separate from the student app. Link to a student with the six-character code they share, then follow progress and risk signals (never grades or private details). The student controls exactly what is shared and can unshare at any time.

May 2026

  1. feature

    11th grade: Maximize Profile

The junior-year surface turns your directions into a two-year course and rigor plan, an honest readiness read against the targets you add, a ranked shortlist of opportunities worth your time, and a focused summer plan that closes your biggest gaps.

April 2026

  1. feature

    The trajectory engine

Optionality and readiness now come from a deterministic engine that recomputes as your profile changes. Every signal is explainable: you can see why a pathway is open, at risk, or closed, and what would change it. The AI explains the result, it never decides it.

  2. feature

AI Coach that explains, never decides

Ask about your plan in your own words, or pick a prompt. The coach grounds every answer in your real data and walks through the reasoning behind a recommendation. It will not make the choice for you, and it tells you when it is not sure.

March 2026

  1. improvement

    Your plan, on every device

Sign in with Google in one tap. Your profile and roadmap now sync to your account and reconcile automatically with whatever you last had open, so you can pick up on any device without losing a step.

February 2026

  1. feature

    10th grade: Find your direction

Tenth grade reads the signals you have gathered and surfaces a few emerging directions, then helps you test them with the next small thing to try. No college list, just the doors you are quietly keeping open.

January 2026

  1. feature

Path & Link: own the early years

A rebuild around one idea: start in 9th and 10th, the years no one plans for, and keep your options open. One engine drives a grade-specific experience for each year, and the 9th-grade Explore loop turns small weekly actions into real evidence and a rising optionality score.
